Forest Painting

First attempt at matte painting without using custom brushes just simple round brush and default chalk brush but without texture setting just wanted the square shape.

ive been focusing alot on light, form and taking all the details in of my surroundings. so this is the result of tree study for last couple weeks. im pretty proud of it. i seem to have improved alot over time

EDIT: made the light rays more prominent. and made it longer since i accidentley had it scaled
